It’s been over a week since the No Kings protest and I’m still unpacking the weight of what I witnessed; not just in the streets, but in the skies, in the silence, and in the systems showing us who’s really in charge.
This was my first protest. I’m a veteran, a mother, a citizen. I made a choice that day to show up, not just for me, but for my daughters, for the country I once swore to defend. And I wrote about all of it.
🧨 My latest HTFDWGH article, “How the Fuck Are We Still Protesting Kings 250 Years Later?”, traces:
The silent fracture inside the Army’s birthday parade - soldiers breaking formation while corporate logos marched beside them.
The terrifying echoes of past regime change in Iran - and how we’re doing it again.
The rise of techno-authoritarianism and the corporate capture of our military.
How obedience, propaganda, and profit turned the people’s Army into a performance of empire.
And why dissent (real, embodied, unapologetic dissent) matters more than ever.
If any part of this hits something in you, read the piece. Share it. Follow for more.

How the Fuck Are We Still Protesting Kings 250 Years Later?
The first protest I ever went to was No Kings Day on June 14, 2025.
